THE Mildura Weekly Newspaper will be delayed hitting the newspaper stands this morning (Friday, December 2), after a truck transporting this week’s edition was involved in an accident.
Both the driver of the vehicle and passenger suffered injuries in the incident, and while both escaped serious injury, they have been taken to hospital as a precaution.
Mildura Weekly staff are currently at the accident site trying to recover as many newspapers as possible, and while it is hoped our regular distribution points will have copies available by this afternoon, our home deliveries will be delayed until tonight or tomorrow while new copies are printed and transported from Albury.
Regular readers can still log on to www.milduraweekly.com.au issuu.com/mweekly to read this week’s edition online, with several stories from this week’s newspaper to also be available.
The Mildura Weekly is doing everything in its power to get our edition on the stands and out to our readers as soon as possible.
