THEY are arguably the kings of Australian rock, with a career spanning 15 years, winning a number of accolades and awards in that time.
For veteran rockers ‘Grinspoon,’ the last 15 years have included a number of ‘thrills,’ with the group’s latest album ‘Six Minutes to Midnight’ the latest.
Debuting at number six on the Australian charts, and set for release in Japan, ‘Six Minutes to Midnight’ will be the focus when Grinspoon visit Mildura next week.
Set to perform at The Setts Bar and Function Centre next Sunday, September 12, bass player Joe Hansen said the group was excited to be back on the road.
“This album was a long process,” he said. “So it’s good to be playing live to audiences again, and generally being back out amongst our fans.”
Joe said it had been “a while” since the band had visited Mildura, promising the overdue visit will be one fans will remember.
“It’s been too long since we’ve been up that way,” he said. “Hopefully we can draw a major crowd, and give the fans a performance to remember.
“So far on this tour we’ve been mixing new material with songs from our first five albums, so there’s certainly something for fans who have followed us from the start, and for those who may have only recently become fans.
