VICTORIA Police’s Major Collision Investigation Unit are calling for witnesses to come forward regarding a fatal collision in Robinvale yesterday (Sunday, April 7).

Police say that two vehicles – a light blue Toyota Camry and a dark grey Ford Falcon – collided on the Murray Valley Highway near the corner of Crete Road shortly before 5pm.

Two passengers from the Toyota Camry – a 70-year-old Mildura woman and five-year-old Mildura girl – died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota Camry, a 36-year-old Mildura man, and a three-year-old Mildura boy were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford Falcon, a 64-year-old Swan Hill woman, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the cause of the collision is under way.
