Local gin producer Fossey’s is continuing its lockdown innovation streak with ice cream on the menu this weekend.

“We’re very excited about our new ice cream,” says Fossey’s manager, Cherie Gowers.

The locally made ‘desert lime gin and tonic’ confection contains four per cent alcohol.

The Ginporium manager says despite lockdown the Spring Gin Market is fully within the rules.
“This is our little spin on doing a sales weekend,” she said.

“It’s all takeaway, it’s all packaged up and ready to go, so you’re not sitting around.”

“We want to try and keep things fun for our community,” she said.
