Back from oblivion, this year’s Show and Shine outshone itself with a fabulous display of brilliant cars, powerboats, dirt bikes and much more, all of which the crowd of more than 11,000 lapped up as they enjoyed the famous Mildura Easter weather.

The COVIDSafe event was staged again in impeccable fashion by Mildura City Heart, that had gone to great lengths to ensure the event could go ahead.

Sydney-siders Olivia Dooley and her friend Liam Bone were among the many visitors to Mildura for Easter and they soaked up the sunshine, while enjoying a walk down Langtree Avenue on Good Friday morning, joining the other visitors and locals who flocked to the event in their thousands.

“It’s my first time in Mildura and it’s a fabulous place,” Liam said.

“It’s amazing to see such a big turn-out today with COVID having impacted a lot of towns across Australia, including Mildura’s Easter last year, and so to see all of the people out and about today is great for the region.
“The sun’s shining and everyone is having a lot of fun as if life is back to normal. The cars are incredible. I’m a big fan of classic cars and there is a great line up here from all different eras. It’s great to see.”
