SUNRAYSIA residents are being urged to dig deep and support Mildura Legacy during the annual Legacy Week appeal.
Mildura Legacy has been helping Sunraysia war widows since 1933, and still serves a vital role, helping more than 300 people in Sunraysia each year.
Mildura Legacy member Dan Murphy hopes the tremendous community support that Legacy has enjoyed over the years continues.
“We will have volunteers at prominent locations across the region where residents can purchase items or make donations,” Dan said.
Items that can be purchased include pens, badges and military teddy bears.
All funds collected help Legacy continue to support war widows and their children in Sunraysia.
“It is great to know that all proceeds raised in Mildura stay in Sunraysia to help local families,” Dan said
This year’s Legacy Week runs from this Sunday to Saturday, September 8.
