NEW South Wales Police have officially issued an arrest warrant for former Wentworth Shire Councillor and deputy mayor, Paul Cohrs, PICTURED.

Cohrs is wanted in relation to the alleged murder of his brother, Raymond Cohrs, on October 30, 2018, at Lake Victoria Station.

Cohrs is currently in Victoria Police custody, and is set to face a committal hearing in Mildura on August 13 to 14 for the alleged murder of his mother, Betty Cohrs. 

In a statement issued this morning (Wednesday, July 31), NSW Police said that Dareton-based detectives would be “monitoring the outcome of these proceedings for the return of Paul Cohrs to the state of NSW to answer these charges.”

Cohrs was charged with a total of eight offences in New South Wales, including murder, detaining a witness and firearm offences.
