SALTY TASTE IN MUSIC: Salty Bones are walking to the beat of their own drum and apparently it’s a beat worth dancing to. Fans will get a chance to see them later this month when they perform in the City Heart and at Corporate Moose.

A BAND with a difference is on its way to town and will perform in the Mildura City Heart, and at the Corporate Moose, on January 25 and 26.

Salty Bones is billed as an alternative folk-surf rock band hailing from coastal Victoria.

The band consist of four very different musicians who come together to produce unique and powerful music – and they reportedly never seem to stop grinning or grooving in the process!

Their unique sound starts with powerful, gravelly vocals, delivering lyrics that are both poetic and pop, dusted in epic harmonies, underpinned by thundering, funky bass and jazzy drums, then finished off with sometimes jangly, sometimes blistering lead guitar.

According to the band’s bio, the delivery is heartfelt, the songs are timeless, the vibe is downright fun and the band members live for it.

The band is currently touring its single ‘Parking in the City’ from its new, full length album ‘Sleeping Dogs’.

A new music video for Parking in the City will be released on January 18.

Fans of Fleetwood Mac, Tallest Man on Earth, Jake Bugg, The War on Drugs, Ryan Adams, Sticky Fingers, Father John Misty, Dope Lemon and the Growlers won’t want miss this eclectic group of Salty Bones!
