Murray MP Helen Dalton is pleased to announce that a Mobile Service NSW office will return to Buronga in March.

“I’m very concerned that people in Buronga and Gol Gol have to travel so far for basic things like getting their driver’s licence renewed,” Mrs Dalton said.

“So I’ve been hassling the NSW Government to bring mobile centres in these towns.”

The Mobile Service will all be accessible on Saturday 20 March from 9.30am – 12.30pm from the Buronga Post Office Car Park site.

Access to frequently used services include:
• Drivers Knowledge Tests
• Cost of Living service
• Birth, death and marriage certificates
• Driver Licence and Photo Card application and renewals
• Working with Children Checks

“This service will be of great benefit to those unable to access the Wentworth Service NSW office during Monday to Friday working hours and a great service to those living in and around the Buronga/Gol Gol areas,” Mrs Dalton said.

The Mobile Service will also provide details of the ‘Dine & Discover NSW’ vouchers and your 2021 Regional Seniors Travel Card where $250 prepaid cash for eligible seniors, living in regional areas of NSW will be available.

“Our tourism operators desperately need help after being devastated by COVID-19 and the border closures,” Mrs Dalton said.

“This voucher isn’t much, but it’s a start. I want to see more direct financial assistance to business in the future.
There are also some grants available, so I’d ask people to check out my website for details.”
