READY AND RARING TO GO: The Mildura Workingman’s Club is just one of a number of district clubs that is set to reopen its doors to patrons eager to see some semblance of normality return to their social life.

AS the restrictions on the numbers of people permitted to gather in one place are eased, Mildura’s licensed clubs are announcing their reopening dates.

Trading hours will be altered, and with the Government’s guidelines only allowing for the service of alcohol with sit-down meals, a limited number of patrons at a time will be permitted in a club’s designated dining area.

As restrictions are further eased, club facilities, including gaming will be opened as permitted by the Government.

The Mildura Workingman’s Club will open its Bistro 121 seven days a week from Wednesday, June 17. Lunch will be available from 11.30am to 2pm, and dinner from 5.30pm to 9pm.

Bookings are essential and can be made by calling reception on 5023 0531 between 9.30am and 1pm.

The Mildura RSL sub-branch is opening the Wirraway Bistro to members and guests as of Monday, June 22. This will allow up to 50 patrons in each area to enjoy a meal. The club will open its doors from 11.30am and will close at 9pm. Bookings are encouraged and can be made by contacting the club on 5023 1888.

The Coomealla Club has already reopened for business, with all areas of the club open to members and guests. The club is operating under the new government guidelines and restrictions apply on the venue’s capacity.

The Mildura Golf Resort has yet to announce when the Fairway Bistro will reopen, posting on social media that they are planning to be back in operation soon.
